Tower Training Graduate, Novation Services employee

My experience with W4W has been positive from the beginning. I met Kelley when I was transitioning out and he wanted to bring me aboard for Towers and helping in the Camp Pendleton area for spreading the word. Sadly, things didn’t line up as the contract didn’t come through due to other reasons and I was hired by another company in a different field. Almost a year later, a contract came alive in California and Kelley asked me if I would be interested and I jumped at the opportunity. I was then hired by Novation Services and went through Tower Training via W4W. I met some amazing brothers and sister in arms in the class and gained a wealth of knowledge. I know I only learned the basics there but it all stuck with me and I knew that this was home for me. I belonged in this industry and with this amazing company. The training was absolutely top notch. Our instructor Derek was extremely patient and flowing with information on how to do things and his real time knowledge was invaluable to all of us there. The process to sign up was seamless as the TEEX team walked me through each step. The future is bright for us in the telecommunication/tower world. I look forward to seeing what comes our way and hopefully setting a path for future W4W students along the way.

Once I enrolled online into the program, the W4W veteran staff answered every question possible, making the process very simple and easy. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable from their own life experiences and make learning easy and fun. I would and am recommending TEEX to any transitioning service member for excellent job training and placement.

I loved the tower climbing experience in general. I was recruited by Izzy Abbass and upon further contemplation decided that it'd be a great course to attend. After being recruited by Izzy I went to the TEEX website and completed the registration there. Once I was set up with everything I flew down to Dallas and started training on a Monday. The first week is all book work and power points taught by Mr. Scott Edwards, great instructor and very experienced. The second week, you're on the tower practicing rescue scenarios. During the middle of the week, the instructors have the students ascend the top of the tower, hang off, then descend the tower. The picture's I'm sending you are of my class and myself hanging off the tower. Overall, I had a great experience, became CPR certified and made some great friends along the way.

I personally find Warriors 4 Wireless (W4W) to be an outstanding organization who helps military veterans such as myself find industry-specific training and a career in the wireless telecommunications industry. W4W quickly responds to any questions and updates about your situation. From the first interaction with Tara & Arthur, I found them to be professional and personally involved with me as a veteran. I found the training realistic and applicable to the wireless telecommunications industry, plus it's a short and to the point kind of professional certification class. I really enjoyed my time with my classmates during my 2 week training class. The instructor, Derek, is extremely knowledgeable and a very patient while teaching tower climbing techniques and skills. The W4W support staff, Arthur, Izzie & Tara assist you in any way possible, including reviewing and commenting on your interview video sessions, revising your resume and cover letters in order to help you to put the best "me" in front of potential employers. I would use and abuse them in this area as much as they will allow you. I'm grateful to have found such an awesome organization to place me in such a meaningful and rewarding career field.
